The Word S#!^ is Back in the Forecast for the End of This Week
The weather this past weekend was beautiful across Colorado. But we all know what happens here in the month of May. Hot one minute, and snow the next.
This week is going to be no different, as we will essentially experience every piece of weather in existence.
According to Denver 7, the chance of severe weather could start in the state on Tuesday with the eastern plains experiencing the best chance of seeing thunderstorms pop up throughout the afternoon.
However, that may not be the system that will generate the most attention this week as a stronger storm has it's eyes set on the state for Thursday heading into Friday morning. We'll see storms and rain showers throughout the day Thursday with highs only in the 50's, and those temperatures will drop into the 30's Friday morning.
What could that mean? That means the possibility is there for some snow to mix with the rain, especially in the lower elevations around 5,000 feet. The mountains and foothills have the best chance of seeing a good accumulation of snowfall from this system.
Right now, it looks like this storm will be out of here by late Friday which means the weather will be great for the Insane Inflatable 5K on Saturday at the Ranch in Loveland. With temperatures slated to be in the 60's when the event occurs, it will be a perfect day to get your running in!
