A Third Child in Colorado Has Died from the Flu

Colorado health officials are reporting that a third child has died due to complications with the flu.

Health officials haven't given any information except to say the child was "school-aged" in an effort to protect the grieving family's privacy. However, officials are encouraging parents to get a double dose of the flu shot for children under age 9.

According to the Colorado Flu Report, Colorado has had 2,095 hospitalizations during this years flu season.
