Coloradans Can Handle Their Beer, According to a Survey
Do you know your limits? This website does— and according to them, we here in Colorado can certainly hold our own.
A recent survey from Alcohol.org researched how many beers, on average, it takes for certain states to start to feel that buzz, and Colorado ranked on the higher side of the range at 3.7.
The national average is 3.45 beers, all based on typical beers (4.5% alc. by volume) in one sitting, according to the site. The states with the highest tolerance are Arizona and Michigan, and come on. We could totally drink those guys under the table.
Whether your personal limit is four beers or not, we urge you to drink responsibly and, the next time you meet someone from Arizona, challenge them to a "Raiders of the Lost Ark"-style drink-off to settle this thing once and for all. Your move, Michigan.
