It’s no secret that Colorado has some of the most stunning and scenic locations hidden deep in the heart of the unique state. As an avid Instagram user, I know the desire to snap a photograph of these locations and share them via social media in an effort to capture the awe of the view for all to see.

Luckily for me and the rest of the Colorado population, Verizon did a nifty search through the use of hashtags, and dug up Colorado’s three most “Instagrammed" locations.

Next time you get the opportunity to visit one of these magnificent spots, don't forget to steal a picture and post it to Instagram with "Views" as the caption (Drake would be proud).

  1. Red Rocks

Every Colorado concert aficionado has been to this breath-taking venue at least once in their lifetime. The outdoor amphitheater is 6,540 feet above sea level and sits on a plot of land containing about 738 total acres of fascinating Colorado history. Opened in 1941, Red Rocks was originally known as the “Garden of Angels,” and anyone who has witnessed the site can understand why. This Colorado gem has attracted artists such as The Beatles, U2, John Denver and many more. Not a big music fan? Red Rocks also offers a multitude of recreational options such as guided tours, hikes, biking, shopping and dining. Next time you’re up at the Rocks, don’t forget to snap a pic and post it to the ‘Gram to join Colorado’s #1 most Instagrammable location trend.

  1. Garden of the Gods

This National Natural Landmark is sure to blow the mind of any new, or old visitor. Located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the Garden of the Gods is said to be “paradise in one magical stop.” Did you know that these sandstone formations were once rolling sand dunes? Pair these dramatic views with the new Geo-Trekker theater or a fine-dining experience in the glass enclosed café on a terrace overlooking both Pike’s Peak and Garden of the Gods. This existentially incredible location marks #2 on Colorado’s most Instagrammable location list.

  1. Pike’s Peak

Sitting at 14,115 above sea level, Pike’s Peak is an attraction that can’t be missed. This elevated destination is the most visited peak in North America, also making it #3 on Colorado’s most Instagrammable spots, and evidently, it sits on the national list of most Instagrammable spots as well. There are multiple transportation options to experience this captivating view: such as your own car, through bicycle rental, hiking the trail on foot, or a wildly-popular, guided Jeep tour. In 2021, the Pikes Peak Cog Railway will be newly refurbished and will be reopening as an additional transportation option as well.
