Kid Makes 911 Call to Fort Collins Police For Help — With Math
We're told to call the police if we need help, right? So, that's exactly what this 10-year-old did... while doing math homework.
Encouraged? Definitely not. Genius? Maybe, but only because the Fort Collins Police Services dispatcher, Chris, had the time to help this student with his/her math problem (Although, he did use a calculator — isn't that cheating?).
While it may be temping to reach out to Chris for help on that chem assignment, Fort Collins Police Services asks that 911 be used only for real emergencies, not as a homework help hotline. And, if you call the non-emergency line, they have clearly stated that 'FCPD is not responsible for incorrect homework answers.'
