COVID-19 hospitalizations in Larimer County are at their lowest since last October.

On Monday (Feb. 15), the Larimer County Department of Health reported that 16 patients were being treated for COVID-19 across all Larimer County hospitals; this is the lowest number of COVID-19 hospitalizations the county has seen since October 2.

The Larimer County Department of Health did add 132 new COVID-19 cases to its cumulative tally on Monday, bringing the county's new total of cases to 18,813 since the beginning of the pandemic.

The youngest newly listed case is a 2-year-old Berthoud boy, and the oldest case is an 86-year-old Fort Collins woman.

Updated vaccination statistics on the Larimer County Department of Health website show that health care providers have administered more than 65,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to Larimer County residents.

Out of 65,609 total vaccinations distributed, 24,948 county residents ages 70 and older have received at least one dose of the vaccine. Among those, 9,108 also have received the second dose of the vaccine and are considered fully vaccinated at this time.
