Sure, now the site is known for being a hip place to get tasty craft beers and great grub, but take a trip back to when it was a hip burger joint.

Fort Collins is widely known for its craft beer scene, with more than 30 breweries in the Choice City, you'd be hard-pressed to not find one that you really like.

Black Bottle Brewery is one that many folks in Fort Collins enjoy and is located off of College and Prospect. The physical address of Black Bottle is 1611 South College.

Turns out, in this edition of 'Throwback ThursDave,' that this is the same address of a burger joint that existed back in the 1950s.

I don't know how I came across this, but on an old blog associated with the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery, I found 1611 South College is the same for address for Morrie's In & Out In & Out Drive-In Beefburgers.

Their big slogan was 'We Grind Our Own Beef,' while today, Black Bottle's slogan could be 'We Brew Our Own Beer.'

Maybe at some point, BBB will name a beer after Morrie.

Check out Morrie's with FoCoMD Here.
